Van Ingen's video "Spin" is a rotating computer generated panorama
of numbers from 0 to 9. As the speed of the rotation increases the
panorama turns into a abstract animation. The viewing situation
was also the starting point in the other video work "Vertical" , where two video sequences
of a lake shoreline are projected vertically. By tilting the videocamera, the common
perspective dictated by gravity has been changed.
